WELCOME TO AONKEN EXPERIENCE

THE COMPANY

Aonken Experience was born in 2020 as a need to offer the market new ideas, and create a new type of wholesale tour operator, adapting to the current times where a safer, sustainable, innovative, and responsible tourism is always possible. Aonken means "south" in the Tehuelche language. The Tehuelches - or Patagones - are an indigenous people from Patagonia in South America, whose greatest exponents live or used to live in the south of Chile's territory. Inspired by their culture and way of life, we want to offer unique and inspiring experiences in South America. Although the Tehuelches have become extinct in Chile, we still remember the memory of our ancestors who populated the southernmost part of the American continent: the end of the world.

What do we offer?

Considering our vast experience as professionals in the area and the extensive knowledge of destinations in South America, AONKEN EXPERIENCE bases its offer on inspiring tailor-made travel programs, personalized attention at every spot in the itinerary (including Chilean Antarctica and Rapa Nui), experiences in national parks, ecological reserves, heritage cities, cruises, helicopter or light aircraft flights and any other feasible service requested by the client.

Why travel with AONKEN EXPERIENCE?

Because we make a big difference based on our experience and vision of the business. Because we treat the guest as a close relative. Because flexibility, confidence in our clients and collaborators and the optimism that every potential problem has a positive solution are our main virtues. Because we all own our company: Can you imagine going to a romantic dinner in a restaurant and being served at the table by the chef himself; or staying in a comfortable and elegant hotel and being welcomed by your own owners? Then if you would like to, as a travel agent, contact us and start planning your client's requested travel program and see how it feels to work with us!

Our partners and suppliers.

We prioritize working with non-massive tourism service providers. We design inspirational trips for which we also support NGOs in Chile by integrating them into our tourism projects. A key concept we ask our partners is to fully believe in our vision of the 4Cs: Conservation, Community, Commerce and Culture, as a significant contribution to the protection of the environment, cultural traditions, indigenous communities and small and medium sized companies. We let the traveller know that what was paid for the trip also contributes to the financing of one of the 4Cs.
